Biography
Casper Holtermann is an artistic photographer based in North Zealand. His photographic practice stems from a fascination with light, authenticity, and the stories that emerge from the encounters between people, places, and moments.
For Casper, a photograph begins long before the shutter is released. It’s about presence, about building trust, and about being able to sense the person in front of the camera. He seeks out those quiet moments when masks fall away and personality, emotion, and character come to the fore. The photograph thus becomes not merely a reproduction of reality, but an interpretation of it.
His work is characterized by a combination of technical precision and artistic intuition. Technical skill is not an end in itself, but a tool for creating images with calm, balance, and depth. That’s why I consciously work with light, composition, and details to create images that feel authentic, timeless, and immediate.
